Lessons are tailored toward pupils' individual needs; whether you aspire to become a professional guitarist or want to play as a hobby I can teach you the skills and knowledge required.

STYLES
I provide lessons to both beginners and advanced players for acoustic and electric guitar.
I cater for most styles, including Rock, Blues, Folk, Pop, Indie, Metal.
AGES TAUGHT
I teach pupils from the age of 9 + and adults of all ages. I am CRB checked and am experienced at teaching both child and adult pupils.
SONGS
I have an extensive, range of recognizable songs that pupils can learn. I'm also happy to transcribe and notate any particular songs that pupils would like to do.

THEORY
I usually teach child pupils both standard notation (as well as tab) and general theory for the guitar. Adult pupils can learn them if they wish.
I welcome pupils who may already play but would like to learn more theory and to read notation.
OTHER INFORMATION
I am familiar with and use the Rockschool grade syllabus as part of my teaching. I also teach improvisation.
